Our Creative Content Manager, Emily Perkins, has been invited to speak at Design/Build/Market, a regular gathering of creatives and innovators that explores topics through combined knowledge. February 8th 2018’s topic is blogging and social media, and Emily will be bringing her years of expertise.
Leading the evening, Emily’s decade of writing experience – and social media management skills – will reveal to those gathered the history of blogging, the power of social channels, and trends of blogging in 2018 that SMEs, corporates, and entrepreneurs should take advantage of.
She will then be joined with three others to form a panel: Sonja Jefferson, Founder, Marketing coach and content strategist at Valuable Content; Gemma Hampton, Self Employed Artist at Gemma Hampton Illustration; and Neil Elliott, Co-Founder of Patternbank, an online textile print studio and trend forecasting site.
“Blogging puts the power right into the creator’s hands, but it can be a challenging task to set oneself,” reveals Emily. “I want to bring understanding and clarity to the power of blogging, and throw down the gauntlet to the Design/Build/Market community to explore the blogging and social media world with confidence.”
Previous Design/Build/Market events have covered virtual reality, and MVPs and early-stage startups. The February 8th event will be an opportunity for the South West community to learn from the experts, so make sure you register for your spot.
