The first month after our new strategy was implemented, daily impressions were up almost 200% compared to previous month, with targeted new followers and over 100 direct engagements. A positive tail continued the next day, with increased uptake of the hashtag that was built upon each succeeding month.

The high levels of social chatter online makes it a challenge to impact your target audience. Professional services is one of the most difficult sectors to generate genuine excitement about online, there was no big announcement that we could leverage, and previous events has proved a success within the industry which the client wanted leveraged through a revised strategy.
Our solution? An update to the strategy which included live tweeting the entire event, using quotes, images of the event, and short video interviews with speakers and attendees to give a sense of being there to those following online - and directly engaging with those attending by liking, retweeting, and replying to their tweets. The event hashtag was prominently displayed in the event invitation and at the event itself to ensure brand momentum.
