Greener Energy Futures’ primary objective was to generate media coverage and increase brand awareness. We worked with Simon Pyne, CEO and Founder, helping to build on his existing reputation as a thought leader in sustainability and net zero practices, whilst also spotlighting new achievements and wins for the organisation and its clients.

Result

We spawned coverage in the local press and green media, including Sustainability Magazine, Future Economy Network and Building Products, leading to a total of 3.78m estimated views in nine months. Website metrics, like the number of visits (+338%) and page views (+187%), increased considerably during our collaboration. After we recommended actions across social media, LinkedIn impressions increased by 630% in just six months.

Challenges

Greener Energy Futures began operations during the pandemic, a particularly difficult time to raise brand awareness. We understood that there was a real opportunity for the organisation to become a leader in the green space and so we made sure that the brand could be found across directories, networks and of course, the press, helping to deliver a direct lead.

Strategy

Before moving on to generating PR opportunities, we worked with Simon to improve the user experience of the website, completing a full site audit. Once complete, we created press and web releases, as well as blogs to help boost website traffic and brand awareness. With sustainability now a top priority for businesses and governments across the world, we made sure to create content based on what was trending such as the IPCC report and COP26.
