Now that CES 2024 has come to an end we have taken a look back over the biggest announcements and grand revels, pulling out what we think to be the trending sectors that will push AI development to new heights in 2024.

With so much conflict going on in the world, security and defence are always industries that see heavy technology investment, often leading to innovative technologies that eventually reach the consumer market (most notably the internet being invented by the military). Coming out of CES was a lot of security technology, powered by AI, from security cameras that can detect shoplifting to AI cyber security tools. The conversation around AI largely centres on if it can be developed and used responsibly, so the hope is that AI secure tech tools can help lead the way, spotting and clamping down on AI tools that are not used for good. For example, AI deepfake technology is mostly (95% of the time) used to create non-consensual adult material. AI keeping track of your identity and where it’s used will surely be a development in 2024, really showing off the good that AI can bring.

The other group expected to benefit from the advancement of AI will be the generation that lived long before technology like this existed. Age tech has developed far beyond fall alarms and heart monitors, with AI and deep learning technology helping to prevent and detect diseases and issues early on. Prevention and treatment technology has already been created thanks to AI and this year we will see this tech advance to the next level and really flex its powers. There are still many diseases that we have no cure for, but early detection can limit how severe the disease can be for some people. AI tools are now seeing significant investment in an attempt to create a healthier future and ease the burden that the health services across the world are facing.

AI dominated discussion in 2023 thanks to the launch of ChatGPT, and it’s still set to be a hot topic in 2024. With regulations set out and discussions on limiting the growth until AI’s full potential and power is discovered, we will expect a much more positive spin on AI. The benefits are already there for many industries, but there are a few that will really drive the development, mainly the security sector and HealthTech focused on older generations.

We are increasingly working across AI projects, launching marketing campaigns for AI tools in a variety of sectors. IF you’re looking to push your product promotion to the next level and get some more brand awareness whilst AI is still in its development stage then check out the work that we’ve already done for AI companies and get in touch.
