Lucy Bushell is starting her new role at OggaDoon as a PR and Digital Media Executive. Lucy shares both the passion and love of PR, as well as a positive attitude towards people and new opportunities. She is excited to explore the growth of health, tech, green, cyber sectors and more.
Lucy has joined us as a recent graduate having studied magazine journalism at the University of Gloucestershire. This was where her interest in all things PR and digital media began. Lucy brings with her an understanding of digital trends, SEO, and social media.
“I’m so happy to be joining the team at OggaDoon and can’t wait to start work and get stuck in. Throughout my time at university, I have found that my interest in public relations and digital media has grown more and more. So, when an opportunity came to do placements, I was lucky enough to find a place at OggaDoon. From my first day, I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my career and was fortunate enough to find a place among the team when university ended.”
During her placement, she was involved in a few different projects which consisted of writing press releases for clients, blog posts and press lists. Lucy is comfortable contributing on all social platforms including TikTok which was part of her university course’s main focus. She is a brilliant problem solver and always has a positive attitude towards work and life in general.
“I’m looking forward to getting started and working with clients new and old. It’s going to be an exciting time.”
Outside of work, Lucy is a bit of a social butterfly, you can always find her out and about looking for new things to try out and explore.
