LinkedIn allows companies to get closer to customers with DM feature
LinkedIn have recently started to roll out a new feature that will allow company pages to send and receive direct messages from other users.
The exciting new feature creates new possibilities for how a company can effectively communicate with its customers and prospective clients. The direct messages could also be used by a company to notify relevant and interested individuals of job openings. The new feature brings many new possibilities in terms of communicating with audiences, from sending out simple welcome messages to sending out invites to events and newsletters, and even sending personalised promotions and discounts.
When the direct message feature rolls out globally to all LinkedIn company pages, it will really maximise the potential of the LinkedIn community as an audience for marketers. After all, LinkedIn is a great tool for B2B social media marketing, and it’s now only getting better.
